4 day tour from Marrakech to Fes after Merzouga Sahara Desert

The following day starts with a warm Moroccan breakfast in your accommodation.Then, going to explore the fascinating Dades valley before continuing the journey to the magical Todra gorge, with its giant canyon that was formed by the Todra river many years ago. A break will be made, to enjoy the marvelous nature of Todra after a tasty lunch around this mesmerizing valley.

Afterwards, the road takes us to our main destination of the day, which is Merzouga Sahara Desert. Here, you will have an enjoyable experience of a  camel trek across the Sahara dunes.aiming to appreciate the amazing sunset on the way to your desert camp, where a Berber traditional dinner will be served around a campfire.While listening to the Berber music in a lovely ambiance with the local nomads under the starry sky of Merzouga Desert.

Day 3 of your 4 days desert tour begins early, to enjoy the breathtaking sunrise on a high dune in the Sahara Desert.Then, having a tasty breakfast before heading to Merzouga center on a camel ride. Not far from Merzouga, the driver will take you on an off-road trip to discover an eyeliner mine and to visit a nomadic family, in order to explore their simple daily life while sipping tea and feeling the hospitality of Moroccan people under their handmade tent. After this expensive experience, you will continue to Khamlia village. A place that is known for its unique and soulful Gnaoua music. Afterwards, you will enjoy a hearty Moroccan lunch. So that, you go on a walk to the palm grove trees. Moreover, we will pay a visit to the famous and seasonal lake of Merzouga before finishing the day with a delicious dinner in a comfy hotel.

As your last day of your 4 days tour starts, we will leave the Sahara Desert behind us, and head directly to the desert town of Rissani, where you will have a shopping experience in its famous old market. Later on, we move forward to visit the fossil town of Erfoud. From there, the journey takes us along the Ziz valley that is known for its panoramic views, in which we will stop to enjoy the beautiful nature of this valley. Next on the journey, we will take a break in Midelt to have your lunch before moving forward to the Cedar forest in which monkeys live. Here, you can feed and play with them while walking and enjoying the forest. Following that, we will head to Ifrane or as they call it ‘’Switzerland of Morocco’’, a snowy city in the winter that is known for low temperature during the hot days of the summer, which attracts many people. After a while, the driver will drop you off at your accommodation in Fes. Finally and officially your 4 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga Desert and Fes ends here.
